Are you an experienced Quality Assurance professional from the food or feed market looking for a customer facing role where you’ll take responsibility for the Quality Assurance element of the relationship between the company and the business in the East & South West of the UK? Through first class analysis and customer service, you’ll ensure that customers are confident in the quality and safety of the products they purchase and the service they receive.
Reporting to the Head of Quality, you’ll cover the East & South West Region, promoting the development and provision of reports and data to customers as required, meeting with selected customers to build and maintain relationships and trust. As Regional QA Manager, you’ll ensure that Operations, Customer Services and all Commercial departments understand what is required of them when it comes to Customer's Quality Experience. You’ll also manage the expectations of customers, being clear with what is and isn’t possible.
Additionally, you’ll support colleagues, particularly within Operations, to ensure that actions relating to compliance, assurance and product quality are delivered.
Skills & Experience
For this role you’ll have demonstrable experience in a customer facing role in a commercial/ Quality Assurance environment. Ideally you’ve also got a strong understanding of feed milling operations and an understanding of Retailer requirements from the company’s suppliers. You’re great at building professional relationships, with experience of relationship management. You take an analytical approach to your work, demonstrating effective problem solving skills. This also means you’ve got strong experience of compiling and presenting reports and data. You’re great at managing busy workloads, effectively dealing with proactive and reactive demands.
This role requires travel to Customer and Supplier premises and company sites; therefore a full UK driving licence is essential for this role.
