Within this team you will be responsible for dealing with complex cases, including assessment and appropriate management of risks. You may also be required to provide casework supervision to other social workers in the team
You will also be responsible for investigating complaints of alleged neglect, abuse or ill-treatment of children; undertake assessments and, where appropriate, arrange accommodation for children and young people. You will also undertake preventative work with families in order to reduce the need for care or accommodation.
You will need to be a Qualified Social Worker with at least 12 months post qualifying experience within child protection.
