Due to extra funding my client is looking for a number of Social Workers to join their Looked After Children team in Merseyside.
My client is looking for experienced candidates who have extensive experience of Childrens Social Care, ideally in Looked After Children/ Permanence teams.
Candidates with other Childrens teams experience at a Qualified Social Worker level should still apply.
Duties Include;
•Liaising with other clients, agencies and professionals
•Knowledge of relevant legislation
•Attending Court
•Child protection meetings
•Case conferences
•Attending LAC Reviews
•Report writing and written communications
•Prioritising and managing caseloads
•Assessing the needs of, and undertaking direct work with, children and young people.
• Working with parents, families, carers and networks to achieve optimal outcomes for children and young people

• This role requires an Enhanced DBS and full HCPC/CCW registration which you will have to provide prior to interview for the role.
