Qualified Social Worker - Children's Team - Andover

Hampshire County Council requires an experienced and Qualified Social Worker to join a supportive and well managed Children's Area Social Work service in Andover.

These roles will be within their Area SW Service which works with children subject to Child in Need, Child Protection and LAC care plans including pre proceedings and care proceedings work.

The ideal applicant with have both Referral and Assessment and long term social work experience. You will be part of the CAST model which means you will be responsible for the child from the initial referral through to closure or permanence. You be expected to complete C&F Assessments, S47 and court work. You will also be part of a duty rota. You will be on Intake for 2 weeks with your team and then 4 weeks off completing the rest of your casework.

Rate of pay will be in line with regional agreements.

To be considered you must have a minimum of two years post qualifying experience within a working in a similar statutory team
