Qualified Social Worker - Adults - Free Accommodation

Due to maternity leave NonStop's client, a Local Authority based on a beautiful island location is looking for a qualified social worker for its multi-disciplinary Adults Safeguarding Team.

This is an authority with a really stable workforce, testament to the impact of lower caseloads around 20 and the development opportunities available to all. You will be working in a small team of 12 staff with 1 team manager and 2 senior social workers. Ideally candidates will have experience of working across adults services, although the majority of work will revolve around adults with learning disabilities.

They use different legislation on the island which means there is more opportunity for creative work with services users and less bureaucracy.

Pay is £32 per hour, via Umbrella Company, this equates to around £800 per week, this also includes free accommodation and a free flight home each month, a unique package in terms of locum work which will leave you with more money.

What NonStop Care offers;

  • Your own designated consultant and one point of contact
  • CV review service
  • Interview advice and preperation
  • Consultants with Social Work experience
  • A supportive team who can always deal with your queries

If this opportunity does not appeal, perhaps you know someone who it will. We offer a referral fee of £200, you could make a friend very happy and have some cash to spend yourself!

For a confidential chat about this, or any of the many Social Work roles we have throughout the country, please ring and ask for David Lord at NonStop Care. Alternatively you can email me on with an updated word version of your CV.
