Your new role
The school are looking for a SENDCo to look after all the SEND in the school. The school are seeking a qualified SENDCo with recent experience in this type of role. The role will be 3 days a week and commences on 1st May 2021. This role will be on a temporary basis initially, with the possibility of becoming permanent in September 2021 for the right person. You will be working with children across KS1 and KS2. It will be your responsibility to ensure that all students with Special Educational Needs have an appropriate provision and that they receive a wide, well-balanced and relevant education.
What you'll need to succeed
This primary school are looking for a qualified teacher with recent and significant experience working with children with SEN, who is confident undertaking the various responsibilities that accompany the role. You will need to be organised and adaptable. You'll need to be familiar with the new Code of Practice and new assessment framework.
