Primary School PE Teacher
A reputable primary school in Barnet is currently searching for a passionate PE Teacher to join them after February Half term teaching PE to upper KS1 and KS2 students. In their last Ofsted review they were rewarded GOOD due to the quality of teaching and support that students receive from the SLT. The school is a one form entry school and has an onsite nursery to provide stability to all students with a focus on developing character and moulding active citizens in the community. All classrooms are equipped with modern equipment and the children have access to a large library which is stocked termly with new recourses. The school is hoping within the upcoming year to gain funding to become a tree from entry school as the area continues to grow rapidly.
The school has recently been given additional funding to provide extra curricular activities for students in the school. Ideally as a potential candidate you will have a sports related degree, QTS and experience teaching PE to pupils in a primary school. You're role will include teaching a variety of sports to students on an hourly basis with various year groups from upper KS1 to KS2. The school is incredibly interested in someone who has also coached students into local and national competitions.
