Salary £15210 + depending on experience (pro rata if you are looking for PT)
The nursery are looking for nursery nurses who want to commit to the role and develop strong and lasting relationships with both the nursery team and the families.
Nursery Nurse Level 2 or 3 Professional experience caring for and educating children, plus completion of early education qualification equivalent to country specific standards.
Responsibilities also include curriculum development and family communication The key area of responsibility for a Nursery Nurse includes but is not limited to; - Provide appropriate care and supervision of the children at all times - Promote a happy and welcoming atmosphere for children, parents, staff and visitors. - Be responsible for a group of children, ensuring their personal and development needs are met. - Plan, deliver and monitor activities to meet children?s needs in line with the EYFS. Offer all children equal opportunities - Conduct housekeeping duties to support the maintenance of a clean and safe environment for children. - Co-operate fully with other child care practitioners/professionals in relation to the individual child?s needs. - Develop and maintain professional relationships with parents and carers - Adhere to all policies and procedures at all times - Role model appropriate practice to other team members, leading by example - Act as Room Leader in the absence of the Room Supervisor You are required to hold a relevant L3 Early Years qualification or equivalent. You will be able to develop effective relationships with your colleagues and carers.
