Qualified Childrens Social Worker

Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for a Qualified Social Worker to work in the Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub with Dudley Borough Council.

This exciting role is available on an initial 3 contract at a competitive pay rate. This is a full time, office based social work role and the core tasks and key features of this role include:

*Negotiating with professional partners to get the best possible outcomes for children, young people and families
*Working within a social work team to manage an allocated social work caseload relating to children, young people and families
*Prepare for, and participate in, planned work relating to court and court orders effectively and within appropriate time scales
*To undertake assessments in accordance with the timescales laid down in the Framework for the Assessment of Children in Need and their Families
*To Identify children in need who may also be in need of protection and to effectively safeguard them
*To assess the needs of children and young people and then determine an appropriate level of intervention and service provision including packages of family support
