Proactive Personnel are currently recruiting for a part time Accountant for a well established client based in Wrexham. This is a fantastic opportunity if you are looking for flexible Accountant role with optional working hours within a three day period.

THE JOB ROLE brief of duties

• Minimum of 3 days per week and minimum 24 hours per week in total
• Provide technical support to the team and assists the Senior Partner with the 'higher level’ Accountancy work, including research into new products and services
• ACA or ACCA qualified
• To review internally the accounts, Self Assessment Tax Returns and other financial documents and returns produced by the Partnership’s Operations Accountants
• To provide detailed accounting and taxation advice to the Partnership’s Operations Accountants and Client Liaison Advisors
• To liaise with the Senior Partner regarding technical queries that cannot be resolved with within the Operations Team
• To investigate new or complex technical issues to assist with future planning for the Partnership Review of year end financial statements prepared for Limited Company clients by the Operations Accountants
• Preparation of year end Financial Statements for clients whose accounting information is more complex than our standard client profile
• Completing and reviewing personal Self Assessment Tax Returns
• Checking mortgage references, accountants’ references and projections of income produced for clients
• Completing and checking accounts for clients who are sole traders
• Completing Partnership Returns for clients
• Providing technical advice to our Operations Accountants and Client Advisors
• Producing technical notes for internal training purposes and Advice Notes to go out to clients
• Producing illustrative calculations for potential clients who are considering using the companies services to support their businesses
• Researching complex taxation/client issues and providing support and technical advice to a dedicated Accountant, Client Liaison Advisor or, on occasion, to clients
• Working with the Senior Partner to ensure that the client base is provided with the best possible advice and up-to-date information, including reviewing the client base on a project basis where appropriate
• Working with the Senior Partner to resolve accountancy queries that cannot be dealt with within the team
• Investigating new or complex technical issues in order to assist with future planning and development of the services and advice to clients
• Liaising with Government agencies on behalf of clients in order to resolve specific matters
• Covering the accountancy work of the Senior Partner in her absence where required
EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENTS

Essential
• Two or three years experience as a qualified accountant
• ACA or ACCA qualified

Desirable
• The opportunity would suit someone with a practice background who enjoys a very hands-on role
• Enjoys working in a small practice
