This opportunity open to qualified Accountants offers something a little different and is most likely going to appeal to those who are frustrated with the restrictions of working in a traditional accountancy firm such as timesheets, access to clients and the lack of desire to change with modern times.
Based in Newcastle this forward thinking, dynamic, timesheet free accountancy practice are looking for a similar like minded individual to join their team.
A chance to manage your own portfolio of entrepreneurial clients and businesses that want to grow and value your business advice. So whilst you need to be good with numbers, more importantly you need (and want) to be able to engage with your customers.
Yes of course the numbers still need doing but you will have a supportive team to assist you with both year and month end accounting. You will be responsible for all aspects of your clients tax and accounts, business planning, budgeting and cashflow management. You won't find yourself always stuck behind a desk, you will be out meeting clients, attending marketing and business trade events or selling cloud based solutions.
Whilst technical experience is important the values and ethos of this firm centre around recognising someone's potential ability to learn and develop, so whether you are newly qualified in audit or professionally trained in a small general practice we are interested in hearing from you. If you have the ambition and desire to want to progress the rest can be trained.
So I guess in summary we are looking for a confident individual who is bit different to your typical Accountant, someone who does not want to be held back and likes the idea of working in a team that is self driven.
If you are considering a move into Industry away from practice I would recommend you consider this opportunity as it is very different to what you may regard as "practice".
Applicants must be qualified but those at an advanced stage of their professional exams are also welcome (ACA/ACCA/CA).
