A growing biotech company have a requirement for a QC technician to join its new purpose built production facility based in Surrey. This new facility will be manufacturing Cosmetic and Pharmaceutical intermediate materials in a cleanroom facility. During the initial training phase, there will be a requirement to travel and stay in the vicinity of Dover for periods of time.
The new site is set for completion on the 1st June. Until this date you would be required to train on alternate weeks between the current Surrey site and their temporary clean room in Dover.
All travel and accommodation costs will be covered by the company. Working hours will be adjusted to accommodate your travel to Dover:
Monday - 10/10.30 start, Friday 3/3.30 finish.
Upon completion of the new production site you will be based full-time in Surrey.

*Ordering of Production Materials and Consumables
*Receipt of incoming materials
*QC Inspection of incoming materials
*Dispensing of Materials for production
*Receipt of finished intermediates from production
*Release of intermediate materials
*Packaging of intermediate materials
*Daily safety and housekeeping checks
*Organising shipment of intermediate product
*Working to Standard Operating Procedures
*QC analysis using HPLC, UV-Vis, Karl Fisher, IR etc - Desirable
*Previous experience in a GMP production or manufacturing environment
*Degree in Chemistry or related subject. Equivalent experience will also be considered.
*Use of rotary evaporators, freeze dryers
*Use of ERP / stock management systems
Due to the location of the site you must be able to drive and have your own vehicle.
