The QC Co-ordinator is responsible for inspection of Subsea Electrical Jumpers and electrical distribution assemblies during assembly and at final inspection. The role is also responsible for the inspection of all purchased parts and free-issued items.
To implement and maintain the ISO 9001 and company Quality Standards.
Inspect incoming materials, both purchased and free-issued.
Inspect our Manufactured Products in accordance with engineering drawings and wiring schematics.
Witness functional testing on assemblies.
Witness Hyperbaric testing of built assemblies.
Adhere to work instructions, procedures, processes and documentation relating to the assembly.
Inspection of production documentation and test results.
Ensure good housekeeping is carried out and work area is kept safe, clean and organised.
Ensure HS&E policies and procedures and Quality System Procedures are followed at all times.
Ability to recognise, solve & implement required changes throughout all tasks.
City and Guild or equivalent preferred
High School Diploma or equivalent
Electrical / Mechanical background
Experience of inspection activities
Ability to read engineering/component drawings
Strong work ethic
Ability to work in a team and use own initiative
Flexible and able to support and interface with people at all levels
Ability to work safely and to ensure the safety of others
Confidential, sincere, honest with integrity
Approachable, resourceful, assertive, proactive
Oilfield experience would be an advantage but not a necessary requirement
