We are looking for a QA Test Analyst and UAT Coordinator to join our Technology & Projects area in Basingstoke. The role will include:
- Working closely with the analysis, development, testing and user groups.
- Coordinating UAT by ensuring: UAT resources are booked and committed according to the project schedule, scope and time-scales are clearly understood, preparation is sufficient to prove that coverage will achieve agreed success criteria and lead to approval of the UAT handover to Implementation gateway, UAT execution issues raised are supported, documented and progress communicated.
- Support QA by: working with the business analysts to understand the detail of business and system enhancement scope, preparing and executing QA testing and handover to UAT activities and documenting evidence of the same, raising and reporting defects, allocating appropriate severity and risk ratings, liaising with developers, analysts and business representatives to ensure satisfactory defect conclusion.
Previous experience of QAT and UAT activities in an IT and/or Business change environment together with a background in financial services - mortgages, investments or regulated environment is required. Good knowledge and practised use of tools, concepts and methodologies associated with software testing is highly desirable.
