Jark (Norwich) Ltd are seeking an experienced QA Auditor for our client based south east of Attleborough.

It is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking for an ongoing position, with the possibility of a permanent role for the right person.

The ideal candidate will have had a minimum of 1-2 years’ experience as a QA, excellent communication skills and are reliable and punctual.

The role of the QA Auditor is to support the Technical function in the factory by conducting a programme of audit-based activities and interacting with the operations team to promote the importance of food safety and quality in a production environment in line with the company’s standards for Food Safety, Quality and Hygiene.

Responsibilities will include:

• Quality Audit Schedule
• Microbiological and allergen swabbing programmes
• GMP Auditing
• Glass and Hard Plastic Auditing
• Verification of CCP’s
• Verification of Scale and Thermometer Calibration systems
• Factory Hygiene Auditing
• Investigating and documenting food safety incidents
• Issuing Quality systems documentation to the factory
• Any Other Tasks

The ideal candidate will be an experienced food industry QA Auditor and preferably with a high care / high risk environment with a good understanding and knowledge of HACCP, allergens management and food microbiology. Knowledge of specific manufacturing practices such as organic, halal and RSPO standards.

Hours will be Monday to Friday typically 06:00 start until 16:00 with some flexibility needed around these times depending on business needs

There will be a company pension scheme, 20 days holiday plus bank holidays

Pay will be up to £9.50 per hour depending on experience
