What will I be doing?
Day to day you will work as part of an agile software development team, participating in the testing and support of our SITS:Vision (student administration) software products so we can continue to meet and exceed customer expectations in the delivery of our services and software. Working closely with others in the team, you will be involved in:
Testing software to ensure quality
Writing user and technical documentation
Providing support to customers via an online support desk
Undertaking other ad-hoc tasks according to changing business needs
What skills and experience can I bring to the role?
If you are a strong problem solver and enjoy working with people in a dynamic environment, then this role is ideal for you.
As you will be liaising with customers and colleagues, your strong communication skills will come into play every day. Your excellent eye for detail will ensure that you create and maintain accurate testing and user documentation and you will be used to delivering high quality work to tight deadlines.
You will bring existing experience of using Microsoft packages to the role and will have a desire to build on your technical skills and knowledge.
If you have any experience or understanding of working in an Agile team and SCRUM methodology this will also be beneficial, but this isn’t essential as you will be surrounded by colleagues who will show you the ropes.
