Shift Pattern:

Monday to Thursday 9am to 5pm - Friday 9am to 4pm

(inclusive of 30 min unpaid break) 36.5 hours

The job holder will be expected to work such hours as required to fulfil the needs of the role and the requirements of the business

Flexi-time - 2 days credit (15 hours) / 1 day deficit allowed (7.5 hours)


The maintenance of the QA documentation system


Main Duties

· Maintenance and operation of the QA specification change system as requested for quality improvements. This to include all relevant changes to required documentation in line with current practises

· To liaise with relevant departments with regards to ensuring the required changes are carried out in a timely manner

· Maintenance of the production assembly sequence sheets for use by manufacture in liaison with the relevant team leader

· Maintenance of the mould shop setting sheets for use in liaison with the relevant team leaders

· Writing and issuance of new component specifications in liaison with the Design, QA department & Suppliers

· Ensuring documentation is kept in a controlled way, disposing and re-issue of documents where necessary

· Ensuring that production staff / mould shop and tool room has the most recent documentation required for ease of use in product manufacture

· Ensuring the relevant departments have laminated and correct copies of Standard Operating Procedures

· Improvement in all areas of the operating system in line with relevant regulatory requirements.

· Liaise with the quality department on all aspects of quality related documentation

· To ensure under GDPR, all data is effectively controlled, securely managed and stored as required within internal databases

· Scanning and uploading to SYSPRO of:

§ All completed works order documents

§ All Sterilisation work order receipts

· Any other such occasional tasks for which the jobholder is deemed to be qualified

People Responsibilities

· To assist when required the telephone/reception duties to assist in the running of reception to ensure this department is always covered

· To maintain the company's current Kaizen / 5s policies in own working environment

· Keep SPC spreadsheet status updated

· Add close off dates to the SPC software for the Cleanroom Audit Check Sheets Cause Details

· Manage tasks and responsibilities for the department ensuring that the day to day tasks are always covered and completed

· Support Department Head with clerical tasks

· Provide reports, updates and presentations as directed by Line Manager

Personal Attributes

· Self-reliance with the ability to work with the minimum of supervision, on his/her own initiative

· The job entails interaction between departments within the organisation and with outside suppliers. It is essential that the jobholder have good interpersonal and communication skills via email/phone or in person

· It is essential that the jobholder exhibit a very high degree of conscientiousness and accuracy in all tasks or duties

· The maintenance of product information is a prime element of the job and is vital to the running of the company

· Must be a good organiser with a neat and methodical approach to the job

· The job holder must maintain and uphold company values
