This is an exciting opportunity for a Python Senior software engineer to join an exciting and innovative R&D engineering team.
The company have a pioneering heritage, as a Python Software Engineer, you will be joining a dynamic, ideas-driven and socially-active software engineering team, where there has been a shift from custom designed, embedded hardware to cloud based technology. You will join the existing development teams in driving the development of the tooling which supports the ongoing design, development and delivery of the increasingly cloud-based deployments.
As an engaging individual, you'll have no issues with working closely with the wider engineering team. On a regular basis, you will be working closely with architects, developers, product owners and business stakeholders to design and deliver innovative solutions across the ever-evolving and constantly exciting domain of Media Management.
To be successful you will need:
-You've recently graduated University, or you're about to graduate with a Software Engineering or Computer Science Degree.
-You will have a minimum of 2 years commercial experience in Software Development, covering OOP/OOD principles
-You will have established experience with Python
- You should have experience with Linux and/or relational and non-relational databases.
-An interest in technologies such as Rabbit MQ and Mongo DB id desirable.
- xperience with Docker and Kubernetes is desirable, not essential
