I am looking for an experienced Software Developer to join my clients Growth and Analytics team, you will play a critical role in the implementation of new projects in the ever-changing Publishing industry and the competitive UK market. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to use and develop their coding skills while learning about technology, marketing and strategy in a young, innovative and dynamic environment amongst big players.

Core Responsibilities

• Work alongside analysts to maintain projects and develop new ones
• Monitor systems and promptly resolve any issues
• Review and improve stability of existing and future projects
• Identify new opportunities and areas of growth based on new technology and business needs
• Produce production level code with appropriate testing, redundancies and error handling
• Utilise the latest technologies in the AI/ML space to build cutting edge tools

Person Specification
Experience

• 2-3 Years professional python experience
• At least one web framework - Flask, FastAPI, Django, etc
• Data manipulation with Pandas / numpy
• Database design and best practices
• Proven experience taking a greenfield project through a full development lifecycle

Skills

• Organised and thoughtful approach to your projects
• Able to manage your own time effectively to meet deadlines
• Strong coding skills and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Confidence to take ownership of your projects
• Must be comfortable on MacOS and Linux (Ubuntu VMs)
• Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams
• Strong critical thinking skills and ability to work through issues independently.
