Purchasing Manager – Restaurant Group- North London- £50k+
The Purchasing Manager will be buying for the group the best quality ingredients, equipment goods and services at the most competitive prices possible. You are responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of supply chain management.
You will have solid product knowledge (i.e. F&B, utilities, service, etc), negotiation skills and experience of cost control and bids.
This is a hands-on purchasing role in which you will actively engage with new and existing suppliers. You have the ability to communicate at all levels and build strong relationships with suppliers, chefs and management.
We’re looking for a sharp negotiator with an analytical and commercial approach.
Your role also includes managing stock control and detailed analysis of GP. Working closely with the finance team to ensure EPOS is set up correctly.
You are preparing analytical reports including sales, GP, wastage and presenting the findings and conclusions.
You must have previous experience as a Purchasing Manager, ideally working for a larger restaurant group.
