This is an exciting opportunity to join a reputable and expanding company in Poole to support their Buying team.
You will be responsible for supporting the Purchasing Manager with a variety of tasks including placing orders, assisting with enquiries and chasing deliveries.
Duties will include:
· Placing orders with suppliers via phone and email
· Following up outstanding deliveries
· Liaising with suppliers regarding delivery timescales
· Inputting orders onto the internal systems
· Liaising with other departments to update on deliveries
· Use of Microsoft systems including word and excel
· Be an organised, self-motivated individual
· Be able to multitask and prioritise work load
· Have previous experience in an administration and customer service role
· Be able to work in a fast paced environment
· Be confident in using Microsoft packages
£8.50 - £9.50 DOE
