Our client is a £50,000,000 turnover manufacturing business, based in Sutton in Ashfield. Due to continued growth they are now looking for a Purchasing Assistant to join their procurement department.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Undertaking routine stock checks on a weekly and quarterly basis
Placement of purchase orders
Analysing/forecasting and ordering of various overseas items
Coordinating any cancellations and additions for production
Liaising with suppliers on a daily basis
Establishing weekly requirements for each factory
Obtaining the daily service orders and also bespoke items
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience within a similar role (purchasing, production planning etc)
- Accuracy with an outstanding attention to detail
- Good IT Skills
In return for the above, our client are offering a salary of up to £19,000 per annum depending on experience, with the opportunity to work within a growing business with great aspects for career progression.
