Our client; a rapidly expanding company is looking to recruit a Purchasing Scheduler; you will report to the Supply Chain Manager and be a key member of the Purchasing team.
Key tasks required by you are as follows:
*Reviewing MRP recommendations within SAGE 200
oRoutinely review and action recommendations for items to be ordered.
*Reviewing shortages based on agreed / set levels.
oHighlight and put resolutions for any known shortages in place.
*Expedite shipments with suppliers in line with production changes.
oReview production changes and determine if there are any shortage issues.
oChase suppliers and agree new schedules in line with revised production schedules.
*Running reports to highlight supplier late shipments.
oChasing suppliers for resolution on any late orders.
oLiaising with Production to advise on any delays.
*To monitor & provide reminders / updates for any ongoing projects.
oAssist in sourcing projects.
*General Purchasing duties i.e. filing / update price files etc.
*Previous Purchasing experience and/or relevant Purchasing qualifications preferable but not a necessity.
*A working knowledge / experience of SAGE 200 would be beneficial but not a requirement.
This is a full time permanent position working Monday to Friday as follows:
Monday to Thursday 08.00 - 17.00
Friday 08.00 - 15.30 with half an hour lunch each day.
