My client are looking for a permanent Purchasing Administrator based in North Fife. Salary is £19,000 - £23,000 depending on experience.
Your new role
The overall purpose of the Purchasing Administrator is to provide an efficient and effective purchasing service to support the various needs of the Company. This will include but not limit too:
Purchasing of supplies, materials and stock from approved vendors
Liaising with suppliers to secure the best price
Process all purchase orders
Follow purchasing guidelines in terms of approved suppliers and delegated authority
Effectively source and cost effectively buy goods and services
Effectively expedite and manage open orders
Accurate data entry and transfer
Any other administrative duties required
What you'll need to succeed
You will be an experienced Administrator ideally within a manufacturing or supply chain industry who has a strong background dealing with purchasing administration. You will possess excellent I.T skills and have a keen eye for detail. You will have excellent communication and coordination skills and have the ability to interact effectively with suppliers, vendors and internal and external stakeholders. You will be a good team player who can also work well on your own and use your own initiative.
