Job Title: Purchasing Administrator
Location: Thame
Salary: £18,000 to £20,000 per annum

We are looking for a Purchasing Administrator for our client based in Thame.

The key purpose of the role is to provide administrative support to all functions within the Purchasing department, improving efficiency in the key areas of procurement and provide knowledgeable and timely statistical data within the parameters defined by the management system.

Main Duties:

  • Provide administrative support to the Purchasing team in the generation and expedition of purchase orders
  • Undertake day to day administration and creation of company stock records in cooperation with the product marketing team
  • Provide front line response across business to all internal enquiries regarding pricing, lead time, availability and order schedule
  • Support the Procurement team in the production of standard reporting and presentation data across the department, including KPI capture and analysis

Skills:

  • Excellent ability to prioritise tasks and manage own time
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Excellent MS Excel and PP skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Minimum of 6 months experience in purchasing / buying

Working hours Mon- Thursday 9.00 - 5.30 and Friday 9.00 - 4.30
