Purchase Pay Manager

Here at Northgate we looking to expand the current Procurement team and bring in a Purchase Pay Manager to support the business as we make changes to the systems and processes that we use. It’s a very exciting time to be joining as the Purchase Pay Manager and this opportunity will play a pivotal part in the new and exciting Business Applications Project.

Reporting to the Head of Procurement, the Purchase Pay Manager will work closely with the Procurement team and other Senior Specialists within IT and Project delivery team. They will play a key role in driving the development and implementation of the Procure to Pay strategy for Northgate UK.

The key purpose of the role is to support the future design and implementation of Northgate’s P2P process and technology solution. The role holder will need to quickly understand the current design and issues and be capable of working within a multi-team environment and confident in proposing solutions to be implemented using the new system.

The Purchase Pay Manager will be responsible for the creation and delivery of the day to day P2P processes to the agreed timetable and Service Level Agreements. They will work with the Procurement team to ensure Northgate offers a seamless, efficient and customer focused experience which maximises on output without compromising the quality of service. The post holder will support the delivery of P2P strategies and the team activities on a day-to-day basis. This will require meticulous attention to detail, the ability to understand and interpret business metrics within the P2P arena and make recommendations where appropriate. They will also support the review of P2P Service Level Agreements (SLA’s), assisting with refinement and ongoing monitoring to ensure that agreed service delivery metrics are exceeded.

We’re offering a competitive salary dependent on experience, 23 days holiday, pension and life assurance.

This role will be offered as an 18 month secondment or fixed term contract.
