High volume Purchase Ledger role for an experienced Accounts Payable candidate; small but close finance team!
Purchase Ledger Clerk - January start
Full Time - Permanent
£18-20,000 depending on experience
This role is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Ledger Clerk to join a friendly, flexible team in this Carmarthenshire Organisation
As a Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will be responsible for assisting with accurate and timely processing of invoices, as well as performing some sales ledger duties.......this role is very high volume; you must be adept at processing a very high number of invoices and be calm and collected when working under tight deadlines
Your main role will be:
- Checking, coding and entering of invoices
- Dealing with supplier queries
- Reconciling supplier statements
- Entering bank transactions
- Ad-hoc duties as and when required
In order to be selected for interview, you must have experience within a finance environment and a working knowledge of computerised accountancy software. In addition to this, basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel would be an advantage. Prior experience in the manufacturing industry would also be an advantage.
