Simpson Judge are working with a reputable client who urgently require an experienced Purchase Ledger Controller to support the Finance Manager. Due to COVID, this role will be remote initially.

Responsibilities:
- Daily reconciliation of Special Purpose Vehicle Entity (SPV) bank accounts
- Management and improvement of the PO system
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Weekly and monthly payment runs for SPV's
- Monthly CIS submission for SPV's
- Processing of all purchase invoices
- Setting up and verifying new suppliers
- Weekly expense processing and management
- Credit card processing and management
- Communicating with internal & external stakeholders with regards to invoices
- First point of contact for invoice queries
- Continuously improving the controls and processes within the Finance function

Requirements:
- Previous experience in a Purchase Ledger role with a high volume of invoice processing
- Minimum of 5+ years’ experience
- Strong Excel skills
- Commercial awareness & willing to challenge costs
- Sage experience is essential
- Construction/property experience would be a huge advantage
