Standing at the forefront of their industry this client is seeking a dynamic and motivated individual with line management experience to join their finance team as a Purchase Ledger Manager.
Your new role
Based in central Cambridge your new role will report into the Group Management Accountant and will be responsible for the full management of the purchase ledger function. Supervisory responsibilities will involve the line management of two Finance Assistants. Duties and responsibilities will include, but will not limited to: ensuring the purchase ledger is accurately maintained, ensuring expense payments are paid, making payment runs, invoicing and purchase orders, filing supplier invoices, month and year-ends and other ad hoc duties.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this role you will need to be a motivated, professional and dynamic individual who is able to perform the duties and management responsibilities required in the position. You will posses the relevant experience in purchase ledger, line management and payroll with a history of working in a multi-currency environment with understanding of EU VAT. Experience with Sage is also preferable in addition to proficiency in Excel and clear communication skills.
