Excellent Temporary Purchase Ledger Controller Opportunity

Hays Accountancy and Finance are delighted to be recruiting for a temporary Purchase Ledger controller for a large manufacturing company based in south-east Lincolnshire.
Your new role
In your new role as Purchase ledger controller you will be responsible for efficiently and correctly matching and coding mid-high volume purchase ledger invoices. You will ensure all invoices are authorised in line with company procedures, you will ensure all invoices and credit notes received are entered onto the ledger accurately and in a timely manner. You will need to liaise with suppliers and deal with any queries or questions promptly. You will be working in a busy finance team reporting directly to the Purchase Ledger Manager.
What you'll need to succeed
You must have recent and relevant mid-high volume Purchase Ledger or Accounts Payable experience. You will need to be immediately available and be able to hit the ground running. You will need to have excellent communication skills and the ability to prioritise your work load whilst working calmly under pressure. You will be organised and have a methodical approach. You will need to have experience of accounting software and proficient in Microsoft office packages. You may be required to travel so therefore a current, clean driving licence would be an advantage.
