Purchase Ledger Clerk - Temporary Ongoing - Bridgend - ASAP Start - Full Time

Your new company
My successful client is seeking a candidate who can start immediately for a temporary to permanent job role based in Bridgend. This position is going to be full time working in a long standing and successful finance team.

Your new role
Process invoices, reconciling delivery notes to invoices received and purchase orders
Set up new supplier accounts and maintain existing account details within the purchase ledger
Monthly reconciliation of supplier statements
Assist in the preparation of purchase summaries
Process business expense returns
Cashbook and petty cash cheques
Processing BACS payments and preparing cheques

What you'll need to succeed
Finance experience
Great interpersonal and communications skills
Good team working skills
The ability to work to monthly deadlines
An aptitude for IT - knowledge of software packages like Excel, Sage and BACS
