Page Personnel are working in partnership with a leading manufacturing organisation to recruit for an experienced purchase ledger clerk on a temporary to permanent basis based in head offices in Warrington. This role is predominantly looking for someone who can work in a challenging and busy accountancy function of 5 support the management of a busy ledger.

Reporting into the purchase ledger manager the purchase ledger clerk role will have the following duties:
Process a high volume of sales invoices in line with procedures set out by the business
Administration of sales invoices in line with procedures set out by the business
Administration of purchase invoices in line with procedures set out by the business
Liaise with line manager on a day to day basis
Liaise with the Accounts Department
Ensure all receipts are kept and logged appropriately
Carrying out statement reconciliations and checking of company expenses
Assisting with month end reports
Any other ad hoc finance duties
The successful purchase ledger clerk MUST have:
- Previous experience in a similar role and in an accounts function
- Professional approach
- Excellent communication skills (spoken and written)
- A polite and friendly telephone manner
- Be well organised and be able to pay attention to detail
- SAP experience is essential
