Operating in 30+ countries with a organically growing turnover and they are currently looking to recruit a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their busy finance team of 20.

Description

As the Purchase Ledger Clerk you'll efficiently prepare multi currency payment runs and supplier statement reconciliations whilst checking and accurately recording invoices on the accounts system.

You'll be responsible for the checking of pricing and gaining authorisation for all invoices and keeping supplier accounts up to date, creating payments through the bank for the Management Accountant to authorise and the sending of payment remits to suppliers. Alongside this you'll be monitoring and reporting on the ledgers Aging and GRNI balances, also assisting Employees and Suppliers with invoice queries.

Profile

The ideal Purchase Ledger Clerk will be bright, enthusiastic and confident with ideally a years plus experience within purchase ledger or a finance background. Strong IT skills are essential including Excel and online banking tools would be a bonus, with the ability to deal with and prioritise a busy workload. Good communication and organisational skills are key along with a can do positive attitude.
