Purchase Ledger Clerk

Hales Group are currently recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to start ASAP for our successful client based in Diss Norfolk.

The position is 5 days per week and the hours 09.00am – 17.00pm

The ideal candidate will need to have Accounts/Administration experience and will be required to have strong working knowledge of SAGE 50

Duties will include:

  • Assisting with the general admin and accounts.
  • Purchase invoicing
  • Purchase ledger
  • Credit control
  • Check payments
  • Data entry
  • Using Sage Line 50 and some excel
  • BACS and cheques
  • Proof Purchase


  • Accounts experience
  • AAT preferred
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office specifically Excel
  • Attention to detail
  • Confident telephone manor
