My client is an established company based in Stoke on Trent. They are currently looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their finance team for maternity leave contract.
Your new role
As a Purchase Ledger you will be processing high volumes of invoices, dealing with supplier queries and liaising with internal departments to verify the invoices. You will also be responsible for statement reconciliations, payment runs , debit balances and updating of supplier accounts.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have solid background in accounts payable and experience of dealing with high volumes of invoices, have good attention to detail and ability to work as part of a team. Working knowledge of Sage accounting system and Excel would be beneficial.
What you'll get in return
Depending on experience you will get salary of £19,000 - £20,000 , 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays and on site parking.
