Purchase Ledger Clerk

We are currently looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a growing team based in Birchwood on a temporary basis. Working in a busy environment, you will be reporting into the Purchase Ledger Manager and your role will involve end to end Purchase Ledger.

The Role:

As Purchase Ledger Clerk you will be responsible for:

  • Matching, Batching and Coding of invoices
  • Preparing the ledger for the payment runs
  • Producing supplier reconciliations
  • Resolving purchasing queries

The Candidate:

To be successful we are looking for a candidate with:

  • Excellent knowledge of Purchase Ledger responsibilities (at least 2 years’ experience)
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • The ability to build and retain great working relationships both internally and externally
  • IT literate with good level of Excel skills
  • Strong attention to detail with good organisational skills
