Here is a prime opportunity to join n Owner Managed SME business based in Standish, Wigan as a purchase Ledger Clerk.
Your key responsibility will be to manage the Purchase Ledger from start to finish including taking autonomy of a new account.
You will liaise directly with the onsite Accountant and Managing Director on a daily basis; you will be trusted with confidential information so it is critical this person can be relied on and demonstrate previous experience of this.
You will also be required to cover on credit control/General finance duties if someone is on annual leave.
Overview of the Role:
Managing the Purchase Ledger
Cash flow forecasting and providing commentary at month-end on your ledger
Preparing and authorising the BACS payment runs
Bank reconciliations and supplier statement reconciliations
Processing staff expenses and calculating VAT
