Purchase Ledger Clerk

Salary:- 20k plus benefits

Permanent Full-Time

Location:- Newcastle / Northeast

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Purchase Ledger to join a streamlined and fast paced organisation based in Newcastle. The ideal candidate should be willing to work as part of a financial team and independently. This challenging role will provide an excellent opportunity to make a significant and valued contribution to the organisation and for you to develop your career with a renowned organisation.

Key Responsibilities:-

  • Inputting purchase invoices
  • Competent within the role
  • Process credit notes
  • Paying suppliers and monitoring credit limits
  • Contain suppliers accounts
  • Dealing with company accounts
  • Filing and departmental administration
  • Processing of petty cash
  • Dealing with Sales Ledger duties
  • Liaise with suppliers
  • Dealing with all staff expenses
  • Accommodate supplier statements to purchase ledger

Required Skills & Experience:-

  • Knowledge of intercompany transactions
  • Great attention to detail
  • Professional mannerism
  • Articulate with excellent communication skills
  • Prior experience within this role
  • ACCA or AAT Qualifications desired, but not essential
  • Good standard of GCSE’S and/or A-Levels
