Purchase Ledger Clerk job with a housing association in South Manchester paying up to £12 per hour.
Your new company
My client is a large housing association based in South Manchester. Due to continued growth they are recruiting into their vibrant finance team, this is a temporary role initially but for the right candidate there will be permanent opportunities as the team is expanding.
Your new role
As a Purchase Ledger Clerk you will be responsible for the end to end management of the purchase ledger. This will involve processing a high volume of invoices in a fast-paced office environment, reconciling bank accounts, dealing with supplier queries and processing payment runs. As this is a busy office you will be required to help with other adhoc finance duties which will help to enhance your knowledge in other areas of finance.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have previous experience of managing the purchase ledger from start to finish, preferably within a housing association but this is not essential, in order to instantly add value to the team. You will work well in a fast-paced environment and will be a good team player.
