Purchase Ledger Clerk


My Client is looking for the help of an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk who can take on all aspects of the function working to tight deadlines in a very accurate manner.

Reporting to the Head of Accounts, you will have full responsibility for

  • Checking all details on the Purchase invoice including cost

  • Posting of invoices

  • Nominal coding

  • Allocating payments made to the correct accounts

  • Reconciling accounts on a regular basis

  • Ensuring payments to suppliers are within agreed terms

  • Liaising with suppliers regarding outstanding issues

  • Working with colleagues across the Business

To be considered for this role you must -

  • Have current Purchase Ledger Skills, pure theoretical experience gained in studying AAT WILL NOT be accepted.

  • A strong eye for detail,

  • Be extremely organised and be able to work efficiently under pressure

  • Have the ability to work in an ever changing environment
