Simpson Judge are working with well-established company based in Oldham who are looking to recruit an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their team on a 6 month Fixed Term Contract with an opportunity for a Permanent role.


  • End to End Purchase Ledger duties.
  • Invoice reconciliation.
  • Query resolution.
  • Receipt of invoices from suppliers and reconcile with the relevant Purchase orders.
  • Processing payment of suppliers ensuring compliance with the appropriate financial procedures.
  • Set up and maintain new supplier accounts.

Skills & Experience:

  • Purchase ledger experience.
  • Experience on Sage 200.
  • Strong academics - ideally AAT qualified but will offer study support if required.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Microsoft Office proficient.
  • Strong literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Positive team worker and ''cando'' attitude.
  • Proactive, organised and methodical.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Interpersonal skills both in person and by phone.
