Reputable food business in Bolton are looking to add an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to their friendly and successful Finance Team.

Working alongside a supportive Finance Manager, you will be joining a team of four who will provide support from day one in your new role.

You will have full control of the Purchase Ledger being the only Ledger Clerk in the team giving you variety and responsibility in the role; you will be expected to produce concise and clear monthly reports to the Finance Manager alongside processing the monthly BACS runs.

The ideal candidate be involved in the following tasks:
*Management of the Purchase Ledger
*Processing weekly BACS payments
*Processing and managing weekly and monthly payment runs
*Processing and managing daily invoices
*Posting payments onto the bank
*Dealing with supplier invoices and filing them correctly
*Daily supplier statement reconciliation

The ideal candidate will hold the following qualities:
*Having full involvement on a purchase ledger
*Working on the sales ledger on an ad-hoc basis
*Experience using SAP would be useful however full training will be provided
*The ability to communicate with suppliers and other team members daily
