Sheridan Maine is currently working alongside a well established business based in Newbury who is recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their large fast paced finance team on a temporary basis.This particular role is a long term opportunity and the key responsibilities will include:
  • Matching, batching and coding Purchase Ledger invoices
  • Weekly payment runs
  • Dealing with any Purchase Ledger queries that may arise
  • Paying company expenses
  • Processing of invoices and expense claims
  • Dealing with any supplier queries
  • Reconciliations
The successful individual will have previous experience working within a Purchase Ledger role and ideally would have used SAP. It would be advantageous for the individual to have good communication skills and an impeccable telephone manner. The individual will have the ability to work under pressure in a busy environment and have good IT skills.
