Our client is a fantastic, global business based in the Leigh/Wigan area. With various company divisions and fantastic products/services on offer to their customers the business is growing rapidly.

Due to this growth we are now looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join the team. You must have experience in the the below, be hands on and able to use your initiative!

Working in a stable, friendly finance team of 8 you will be:

  • Processing high volume purchase invoices - coding, posting, approving and filing
  • Managing key Purchase Ledger accounts for the business - raising and monitoring queries
  • Liaising with suppliers regularly, assisting with credits and queries
  • Statement reconciliations - monthly
  • Chasing missing invoices and assisting team with remittances
  • Assisting wider Purchase Ledger/Finance team with any ad-hoc duties
