Purchase Ledger Clerk

A wholesale organisation based in Gloucester is currently recruiting a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their team.

This is a newly created role due to an internal promotion. Working for a company that encourages development of its staff, this is an excellent opportunity for anyone looking to further their career within this field.

Duties will include:

  • Bank reconciliations
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Coding of invoices
  • Allocating cash
  • Processing sales and purchase invoices
  • Banking
  • Dealing with credit card payments and direct debits

Previous experience of working in an accounts department is essential. The successful candidate must also be comfortable using excel and working within a team.
