Purchase Ledger Clerk

Cherry Professional are recruiting for a business based in Castle Donington, who are seeking to employ a Purchase Ledger Clerk on a permanent basis.

Reporting directly to the Finance Controller, the Purchase Ledger Clerk will be working within a team of accounts payable specialists to ensure that timely and accurate transactions are made.

Key Responsibilities:

Processing of purchase ledger invoices
Resolving and dealing with supplier queries
Matching, batching and coding invoices
Reconciliation of supplier statements
Assisting with the payment runs
Helping out with other areas of finance as and when needed (ad-hoc).

Ideal Person:

A minimum of two years' experience working in purchase ledger
Working knowledge of MS Excel
Strong attention to detail
Excellent organisational skills and have the ability to meet deadlines.
