Purchase Ledger Clerk

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join the Accounts Payable team of a rapidly growing business based in Leicestershire. In this role, you will be responsible for processing a large volume of invoices, statement reconciliations and dealing with ongoing queries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Matching invoices and inputting invoices on to the system
• Ensuring invoices are authorised and coded correctly
• Processing payments
• Reconciling supplier statements 
• Assisting the team in ensuring that all deadlines are met

The Ideal Candidate:

• Good purchase ledger / accounts payable experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience of using Sage
• Ability to work to deadlines
• Immediately available or short notice period
