Purchase Ledger Clerk

Reed Accountancy has the pleasure in recruiting for a well established company in Chelmsford who is looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their team. 

This role is urgent so the right candidate must be immediately available. 

Duties include: 

-Code and check invoices
-Work out VAT payments
-Carrying out payment runs
-Check and reconcile supplier statements
-File invoices and statements
-Deal with purchase enquiries
-Process staff expenses

The right candidate must have:

-Relevant knowledge and understanding in a similar role.
-The ability to work effectively in a team environment and to process
deadlines.
-Computerised accounting purchase-ledger experience, preferably
SAGE
-High attention to detail and an orderly approach to processing.
-Expense-claim processing knowledge and understanding.
