A temporary purchase ledger clerk job based in South Lanarkshire paying £18,000 to £20,000 per annum
Your new company
You will be working at a well established construction company based near Lanark on an initial 6 - 9 month temporary contract. Our client is looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to support the finance function on a full time basis. This is an exciting and challenging role which could result in contract extension for the right candidate.
Your new role
As the sole Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will report to the Commercial Manager and your responsibilities will include matching, batching and coding invoices, raising purchase orders for overheads, reconciling supplier statements, and general office administration duties.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have experience in a similar role and be able to demonstrate a sound knowledge of Accountancy procedures. You will be an excellent communicator and be able to work under pressure. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of CIS and SAP Accounts, but it is not essential.
