A market leading business in South Manchester are looking to recruit a Part Time Purchase Ledger Clerk 30 hours a week to join their finance team on an 18 month contract.
Your new role
This Purchase Ledger Clerk reports in to the Management Accountant and will involve the following duties, high volume invoice processing, statement reconciliations, handling and resolving queries, managing supplier payments, processing expenses, ensuring correct VAT charges are applied, multi-currency invoice charges and month-end assistance.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have a good understanding of the Purchase Ledger process along with the ability to work well with a team. You will need be numerate, accurate and a good eye for detail. You will need to have good MS Excel skills.
What you'll get in return
The role offers a salary of 15,050 - £18,813 for the 30 hours a week ( up to £22,500 pro rata)
plus additional benefits such as flexible hours and generous staff discounts. They ideally want someone to work each day of 6 hours a day although 4 days a week would be considered. They are based in an accessible location for public transport, with free parking on site.
